Biography

Growing up in Geneva, Elisa pursued her Bachelor of Physics in Townsville, Australia, to gain international experience. Following four years in Australia, she continued her academic journey in Astrophysics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Under the supervision of Stijn Buitink, Elisa completed her master's thesis, titled 'Reconstruction of muon fraction in comic ray’s air showers within the SKA scintillator array.' She now joined the Opera-Photonic department, conducting research in non-linear photonics, under the guidance of Marc Haelterman. At the same time, Elisa works as a physics assistant at SBS-EM collaborating with Philippe Emplit and Marc Haelterman.
