Biography

Born in Senija (Alacant, Spain) in 1992, he received his degree in Physics from the university of València in 2014. In 2015 he received his Masters degree, where he specialized in optics and photonics. From 2015, he worked towards a PhD degree at the university of Lille (France). He got the PhD degree in physics in October 2018 by defending his thesis entitled "Nonlinear propagation in optical fibers : from soliton radiations to multimode instabilities". In December 2018 he moved to Brussels, where he spent three years as a Postdoc and then in 2021 he got a Chargé de recherches fellowship from the FNRS.
His research focuses on soliton and pattern formation in driven resonators with intracavity gain. -
